Turret Doors

This is the design I have decided on for the doors to the turret.

The oatmeal boxes (2) are going to be the turret base.  The white paper in the middle of the picture are the door patterns.  The blue tape  is around slats of boards for the doors.  I am going to glue the boards together and glue detail on the doors.  Then I am going to pour resin doors.  I then am going to use a blow dryer on the resin doors and bend them slightly to fit the curve of the  oatmeal box.

The Thoughts Are Conjured

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter. I have had quite a few ideas for rooms-they are the Head master's Wizard room w/a spiral stair case, Hagrids hut-I'm sure there are more. The room I am going to start is Dumbledorf's office/library/. The first thing is the shell. I will have to think on that. I have asked the club I belong to if anyone has a two story house they are ready to trash-no response yet. I really think that very wide foam core would be good. I will have to think on it a while. No pictures yet. I am organized on this project, too-I have put everything in a box. Most of my problem is finding stuff when I get ready to use it. I plan to make two or three of each accessory I make and sell the extras-that, I hope, will pay for the project.
